Grunwald UK donates to the New Life Community Larder in Sleaford

Grunwald UK and its staff have donated groceries and £700 to Sleaford New Life Community Larder to aid their work at Christmas. The locally based packaging company have supported the charity since 2018. Company Director Samantha Smith says, “The Community Larder does a fantastic job supporting local people when they most need help, and we hope that our contribution goes some way to making Christmas better for the people they work with. We would encourage anybody who can to make a contribution to continue this important work.”

 

Rod Munro from the New Life Community Larder commented “We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the whole team at Grunwald UK for their generous donation of £700 and food donations for our Christmas Hamper Appeal. The New Life Community Larder team are working extremely hard behind the scenes to pull everything together to send out over 60 Christmas Hampers to families on Christmas Eve this year.


It is an extraordinary effort by volunteers and contributors to make this happen and it takes many weeks to organise. We are working with support agencies to identify those families in genuine need this year. Grunwald UK once again have stepped forward to help our community work to support people in Sleaford and surrounding villages. We would really encourage other businesses to come forward and support the essential work of the local community larder.”

 

If you want to help by donating cash, food, or a Christmas item to the Sleaford New Life Community Larder, you can drop off items at the New Life Centre, Mareham Lane, Sleaford - Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm.
